Sexy Original Valentine's Tees

Just in time for Valentine's Day, I came across this super sexy line of romantic t-shirts and one of a kind deconstructed vintage camis called Every Little Counts.

Los Angeles based designer Amy Snider creates this exclusive line of women's tops from her cozy hilltop apartment with the help of her husband, who she refers to as her "Master Screen-Printer". (How romantic indeed!)

Amy also creates some very snazzy reusable shopping bags, a perfect gift for your eco-minded boy or girl who's trying to go green instead of pink this V-day. And even better, everything in her shop is under $40!

Styles that Stick: Ironic t-shirts

Your RetardedEvery time a hipster puts on an ironic t-shirt fished out of an Urban Outfitters clearance bin, he or she is making a statement. And that statement is "Yes, I am fully confident that my inner coolness is enough to counter this hideous shirt, and the visual cacophony that it inflicts upon all who cross my path".

It's a loud and somewhat obnoxious statement, to be sure, but there is no indication that this trend will fade any time soon.

To be fair, it's not just hipsters. There are also the pierced heavy metal heads showing their supposed support of Phil Collins across their chests; the scrawny and pale-skinned inviting ladies to check out their gun show and/or pythons, and the girls proclaiming that they truly "heart" nerds when in reality, it's blatantly obvious that they're out of anyone and everyone's league. Anyone with an inflated sense of self-confidence can don one of these shirts and be on their merry way.

Wear your ironic t-shirts well, hipsters and all those brave enough to risk testing their cool mettle. There will come a day when you're too saggy and sad to pull off that little league shirt you picked up at Goodwill. This moment will come and it will strike you hard. All you will be able to do is sit to the side and watch the new generation of hipsters flourish and thrive in the ongoing trend of ironic wear.

VIDEO: How to fold a shirt fast

This is mostly for the guys out there, who crumple their t-shirts, shove them in the drawer, and wonder why they always look like a bum. I'm not advocating that your iron your casual wear, but you'll look significantly more polished if you bother to fold your shirts after they come out of the dryer.

The good news is, that the entire folding process can take about 5 seconds if you do it properly. In the above video, you'll see how with 2 simple moves, you can have your shirts folded perfectly in no time at all.

So say goodbye to your wadded up t-shirts, guys, and hello to a more sophisticated, wrinkle-free summer.

Remember to keep calm and carry on

Emma and RupertEmma Watson and Rupert Grint looked great at the Paris premiere of Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix. Watson didn't dress as wackily as she usually does (it's almost as if she dresses strictly according to a StyleFoul guide or something), but Grint stuck with his usual "too cool to dress up" style, wearing faded jeans and t-shirts. However, I noticed that the shirt that he wore to this particular premiere has been popping up everywhere.

"Keep Calm and Carry On," his shirt says. It's actually an image/saying from a British World War II poster that was designed to assure citizens that all measures were being taken to defend the country against Germany. It has a strange relevance to the Western world's situation now, and is a nice juxtaposition to the scare tactics and fear mongering we see everywhere.

Plus, it's a cool shirt.

Edit: Apparently this is the original place that made these shirts, including the one that Rupert is wearing.

Self-love, high-fashion

Is self-love a new fashion trend? We've got Paris Hilton trotting around town in an "I'm Paris Hilton and I can do whatever I want" shirt and now a Dolce and Gabbana "I Love Myself" shirt (which sells for $95) has me wondering if proclaiming one's love of self is a new fashion look.

It's not exactly a new idea. One Christmas back when I was a teen, my father bought me a sweatshirt that said "all this and brains too." I was mortified and never wore it except to rake leaves in the back yard. I'm just not the kind of person who is comfortable with shouting self-congratulatory statements across my chest. But maybe I missed out. These days I see plenty of girls with "princess" or "diva" or "I'm worth it" spelled out in crystals on T-shirts. Still, "I love me" shirts seem to be taking it to a whole new level. But maybe a little healthy self-esteem is good for the soul. If your self-love has a budget, you can always go Cafe Press and buy an I heart myself shirt for under $20.
