In the mood for a little virtual shopping? Shop.com has come up with a contest called Cart Me Away that challenges you to virtual shop for a chance at a $1,000 shopping spree. Each day players are given a daily spending amount and have to pick winning combination of products from a list of products that best fit that day's installment to the story. Each day has one right combination of products and players get three chances to make a perfect match. The other day I mentioned the Neiman Marcus spring beauty giveaway which is free with any $85 purchase. Now comes the Saks giveaway, a white patent tote stuffed with samples from Annick Goutal, Laura Mercier, Donna Karan, La Prairie, Dior and others which is given out with any $100 purchase. For some reason, $85 slid under my radar as being perfectly reasonable, even tempting, while $100 seems like too much to spend just to get a bag and a bunch of samples.
