Ed Westwick is getting his own fashion line

They might as well just hand every member of the entire Gossip Girl cast their own fashion line right now, because it seems that's the direction we're going. Ed Westwick, aka, super sexy, super evil Chuch Bass on the hit show, is next up.

Perez Hilton to sell fashion line at Hot Topic

Perez Hilton's celebrity gossip website is a guilty pleasure for millions of people around the world. But he's downright nasty to celebrities, making cruel comments on their weight, their fashion choices, their sexuality and more. We feel dirty all over when we read his site, don't you? (And you know what? He sure doesn't have much room to complain about others, given his countless red carpet disasters!)

Now just imagine how dirty you'd feel if you wore his clothes too! Mario Lavandeira is coming out with his own Perez Hilton fashion line.

Heidi Montag launches Heidiwood

In case you haven't had enough of the lovely miss Heidi Montag, she's going to be getting even more press these days -- her clothing line, Heidiwood for Anchor Blue, just launched. By the way, is that pretty much the worst name you've ever heard for a fashion line?

Elizabeth & James

Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen have achieved moderate success with their first fashion line, The Row. We suppose they figured, "Hey, we did OK with that, let's try another one." So they began a second line, this one called Elizabeth & James, after their siblings.

Why not? Even if it fails, it's not like the girls are going to go bankrupt.

Gossip Girl's Leighton Meester wants her own line

Gossip Girls fashion is to teenage girls what Sex and the City was/is to women in their 20's and 30's. It's the be all, end all of style. The whole premise of the show is to make you envy their exciting lives and their wardrobes. So it's really not a shocker at all that one of the stars, Leighton Meester wants to make the big move and design her own line.

Rachel Bilson is the next celebrity designer

So many celebs these days have their own fashion lines. These sort of announcements barely make headlines anymore. Rachel Bilson is going to be yet another in a long line of starlettes who use their popularity to get them a gig designing clothes. She's hooking up with DKNY to create a line of jeans for the brand. They will be sold in stores, starting in September, under the name Edie Rose.

Reaching out to DKNY, Rachel contacted them to see if they would be interested in working with her. The company gladly accepted. The DKNY president said, "Our customer has a real emotional connection with Rachel and she's always on the best-dressed lists, so it seemed like such a win-win for us. Rachel has real personal style and she is very involved in every step. You can really see that in the collection."

Some celebrity fashion lines make absolutely no sense -- Hello, who in the world is going to buy clothes made by Avril Lavigne?!? But, Rachel Bilson is actually somewhat of a fashionista. Aside from the fact that's she's tiny, perky and adorable, she really never gets it wrong. Her personal style is cute and edgy, yet not over the top or skanky.

Browse through the gallery and tell me if you agree. Is she worthy of having her own line?

Katherine Heigl puts a twist on celeb fashion lines

Katherine HeiglGrey's Anatomy star Katherine Heigl is jumping on the celebrity designer bandwagon, but in an unconventional way. Instead of coming up with her own line of jeans like Victoria Beckham and company, Heigl has teamed up with Peaches Uniforms to create a collection of health care uniforms to debut in retail stores later this year. I love the idea of having more fun designs and colors for professional nurses, but, really, isn't there only so much one can do to spiff up scrubs? I guess we'll see.

My idea: Scrubs made entirely of sequins. And tassels.
