DB Clay's wallets are made from an eco-friendly, 100% vegan material and are decorated with a non-toxic, high resolution printing process. A lot of designers take the position that fashion is all about looks and nothing about ethics. That's how we get things like the bacon bra -- where could you possibly find a less eco-friendly piece of underwear? If you're willing to get intimate with the problems that face our planet, you can start by exchanging your old-school undies for some eco-friendly underpants.

Rapanui makes ethical cotton underwear for men and women. They're a bit on the basic side, but simple is beautiful. The breathable, hypo-allergenic cotton is grown on reclaimed commercial farms where Rapanui works to remove all chemical deposits from the previous owners' operations. I'm so ready for summer. Winter is all fun and games until the holidays are over, and then it's just cold and crappy for no reason (other than scientific). I'm ready to spend my days wearing shorts and flip-flops with my toes in the sand and a drink in my hand. I want to be warm.

Enter the music of Jack Johnson. I bought his new CD, Sleep Through the Static, and I have officially put winter behind me (my back is to the door).

I could go on and on about the "greeness" of Jack. The album is sold in sleeves made from recycled materials and was recorded using 100% solar energy. Take that Amp. However, as awesome as that it, I'm not writing to share the effects on my conscience, but rather the thawing of my soul. You can use that if you want.

Jack Johnson is the soundtrack to summertime. It's hard to listen to his music without skipping right to bikini season. I want to fill an ice chest with beer and invite some friends over to sit in the yard and laugh about our kids and our lives. It's a good feeling.

I will admit that I was not inspired by most of the women's clothing from Jonano, but I did find myself cooing over the Sami Baby clothing, particularly the red and white Tomte separates. Everything is made from 100% Egyptian organic cotton and dyes that have a low impact on the environment. The Sami Baby candy-stripe pants are $19.50, and match with the Plum Tee for the same price.

We love eco-chic here at Styledash, especially since eco-chic no longer means hemp sandals and tie-dyed skirts. There are a lot of new, small apparel and accessory brands out there that are environmentally responsible, and if you're interested in shopping for them, head over to Pangaya, an online store that specializes in these brands. They carry everything from accessories to yogawear, and carry a number of brands, including the Del Forte "green" jeans we've mentioned before.

Bamboo just may be the textile of the future. Clothing made from bamboo naturally wicks moisture away from your body and feels as soft as cashmere. Bamboo also has natural antibacterial qualities and stays warmer in the cold and cooler in heat than most other fabrics. Because bamboo grows at a rate of about one foot per day, it is an easily renewable resource. Bamboo is eco-chic.

Soon bamboo fabric should be popping up everywhere, but for now it's a still a little hard to find. Pantyboo has bamboo underwear (though they verge on granny-panties so be warned), and PandaSnack has some basics like tees and tank tops. Right now everything I've seen available in bamboo has been pretty plain, but I'm sure the more trendy bamboo clothes are on their way soon. Bring on the soft-as-cashmere bamboo sweaters please!
