Now you can buy your child a Kimora Lee Simmons doll
If you've always dreamed of inspiring your little girl to want to look like a The doll, created by Kimora herself, will set you back a whopping $59.99! Now, I haven't been on a Barbie shopping spree in quite some time, but that sounds pretty pricey to me. But apparently, it's worth it. According to the manufacturer, plastic Miss Simmons comes dressed in, "a pink halter with Kimora's KLS logo buckle belt, mini skirt and over-the-knee boots, topped by full-length faux chinchilla coat with KLS logo leopard-print lining."
Oh, and I should note, this doll is brought to us via Mattel, original creators of impossible body standards for woman. Is it any surprise that a company that thought selling Barbies with humanly unattainable proportions (36-18-33) was a good idea, doesn't think twice about encouraging little girls to wear fur and hooker boots? I should give them some credit. The Toys R Us website does specify that the toy is for ages 14 and up. But, we all know that for a little girl, anything down the Barbie aisle is fair game.
