New shoes are awesome, right? So pretty, so special, so new, and best of all, they never make your butt look big. Putting on a new pair of shoes can give you a surge of happiness -- that is until that surge of happiness turns into a blister on the back of your heel or the corner of your toes.
However, a few weeks ago, I stumbled across this product called
Body Glide in a boutique running shop I was poking through. Even though the stick emollient is intended for athletes, the label also mentions that the product is good for
preventing shoe blisters. So, I gave it a try with a pair of leather flats that I scored earlier that weekend, and I have to say, the Body Glide saved my feet. One coat and you're set for the day. As they say, prevention is better than a cure.
