Paris Hilton banned from Oktoberfest
As it turns out, crimes of fashion really do exist. Everyone's favorite heiress Paris Hilton has been banned from Oktoberfest. The reason: Hilton "cheapened" last year's event. Munich's locals were disgusted, calling the event organizers sellouts when Paris showed up at the beer festival dressed up in "tacky" Bavarian dress to advertise a brand of canned wine (classy).
The chief of tourism (no idea that title existed) Gabriele Weishaeupl announced Wednesday that celebrity-related promotions "are completely prohibited by the new festival rules." Way to ruin it for everyone, Paris.
