Holland Features Nude Portraits of Lagerfeld, Deyn in Upcoming Collection

Henry Holland's nude portrait of Karl LagerfeldA nude portrait of Karl Lagerfeld? Not sure we're ready to go there, but apparently there are plenty of other fashion groupies out there who want Karl in any form available -- t-shirt, teddy bear, or puppet. Those are exactly the fashion obsessed masses that Henry Holland knows how to connect with, and they're probably probably going to flip when they see his latest collection: a series of tees that feature all of your favorite fashion icons in the buff (their privates modestly covered by flowers).

Lisa Rinna admits she used too much Juvederm

Even though we totally fell in love with Lisa Rinna when she was on Dancing With The Stars, we've always categorized her in the same "Muppet Features School of Plastic Surgery" as Donatella Versace and Jessica Simpson.

Christina Aguilera at the VMAs - StyleFoul!

Maybe this is our fault for thinking we were bored with Christina Aguilera's sexy retro look. That matte red lipstick and old-fashioned hair that was, frankly, kinda aging her. But mostly it worked for her, and at least she had some dignity to go with her world class talent.

We should have realized that the old Xtina would bust out (cough cough) soon enough.

So what is she wearing here? This looks like the "Sexy Spider Web" costume from the Halloween Store. Those stripes turn her gorgeous curves into bottom heavy saddle bags of doom!

Then there is her hair and make up. It's a look straight out of the Donatella Versace School of Understated Klass, minus the spray tan. An understandable omission. A working mother doesn't have time to fake bake.

In the gallery, more views and angles, for better or worse, of the New Christina Aguilera.

Donatella Versace won't do H&M line

So many major designers have done lines for H&M that Donatella Versace would be a seemingly logical choice to team up with the retailer. But, she won't be following in the steps of Stella McCartney, Viktor and Rolf or Roberto Cavalli.

Hollywood's most fabulous tanning disasters

Filed under: Cosmetics, Skin Care, Celebrities with Style

While pale, porcelain skin is beautiful, it's hard to ignore the beauty of a bronze glow in the summertime. Who doesn't feel a little bit lovelier with slightly golden, sun-kissed skin? Notice we said slightly -- there's a big difference between being a little bit tan and looking like you've spent every day for the last three weeks baking on Miami Beach.

Celebrity plastic surgery: lip plumpers

These days women will do just about anything in order to get plumper lips. There are new products for those of us who aren't brave enough go under the knife (and according to StyleList, some of the actually work!). But, if you're a celebrity, new lip glosses promising to make your lips look juicy and luscious aren't enough. All kinds of A-listers are hitting up their plastic surgeons for a hit of collagen.

On the scene: $91,000 for a naked French lady

Filed under: Style in the News

We have no idea why anyone would pay $91,000 just to see Nicolas Sarkozy's supermodel wife posing sans clothing, but that's what some Chinese guy paid to own a photo of her in the buff. Oh yeah, it's art. Sure dude. [Guardian]

Argh! What the hell is that mustache doing invading William H. Macy's face? [She Knows Best]

Natalia Vodianova and Isabeli Fontana for Versace

Can it be? Have curvy bodies replaced the tiny frames currently dominating the runways and fashion editorials? Eh, not exactly. But Donatella Versace has enlisted two supermodel pros for her brand's fall ad campaign that are anything but waif-like child women.

Isabeli Fontana
, who was the face of Versace Crystal Noir parfum in 2004, and Natalia Vodianova will be appearing in Versace's window displays come fall -- replacing the vivacious Gisele Bundchen who is currently fronting the brand's campaign. The beautiful mothers shot the ads with famed fashion photographer Mario Testino on Wednesday.

Kudos to Donatella for embracing women over the age 14 and a size four two seasons in a row now. I know, I know. But we've got to start somewhere.

Why Donatella Versace can't get a date

Filed under: Style in the News

She's famous, she's successful, she's (sort of) attractive (in a "wow, you've sure had a lot of plastic surgery" kinda way).

So, why can't Donatella Versace seem to find a man? Apparently it's because she's such a pain in the ass. Says Versace: "I have an interest, of course, but I'm too busy. And then I think, 'Oh my God, who wants to date me? I'm so complicated.' People have a low perception of me, men especially. They think, 'this woman, she's a nightmare.'"

I've never met Donatella, but anyone who's such a workaholic that she goes to the office straight from the hospital -- after a Cesarean -- is probably a little too intense for most relationships. Just a thought.

Versace and Spice Girls team up for super-tour

Filed under: Style in the News, Celebrities with Style

Spice GirlsThe latest development in the already major Spice Girls reunion tour: Donatella Versace has signed on to design the Girls' stage outfits. Apparently, Donatella has been a fan since the group's early days and was more than excited to submit her ideas upon the news of a comeback tour. The ladies will all have specially-designed, individual looks to follow their old Sporty, Posh, Ginger, Baby, and Scary personae, but not in the same blatantly gimmicky way as the old days'. For example, Sporty Spice won't have to strut around in a sports bra and Umbro trackpants anymore, but will dress in a more refined manner. It's probably better that the old looks do not return now that the ladies are older, but I'd be lying if I said I won't miss Ginger's legendary Union Jack mini-dress. The new outfits will be worth over a sweet $400,000.

If you love the Spice Girls (or Donatella Versace), register for tour tickets now.

Donatella Versace tells Hillary Clinton to take her pants off

Perma-tan and perma-blonde fashion designer Donatella Versace might not be the best person to give advice to presidential candidates, but she's doing it anyway. In an interview in a German newspaper, she said that Senator Hillary Clinton should scrap the pantsuits and wear dresses and skirts instead. Donatella is quoted as saying that Hillary should "treat femininity as an opportunity and not try to emulate masculinity in politics." Donatella's fashion prescription involves knee-length skirts with coats in black rather than blue.

I seem to recall that whenever Hillary used to wear skirts she was roundly ridiculed for her piano bench calves. There has been a definite firming up of her appearance since the First Lady days. Her hair is shorter and she wears more suits. I think Hillary looks more comfortable in the pantsuits and the blue is flattering with her skin tone and so I'm going to have to disagree with Donatella on this one.

Mary Kate Olsen's hair-raising decision

Filed under: Hair Care, Celebrities with Style

With the New Year just around the corner, celebrities are surely tinkering with their lists of New Year's Resolutions. (i.e. "Should I do the master cleanse or the South Beach?" "Should I fire Rachel Zoe or buy another pair of oversized sunglasses?" "Should I just bite the bullet and convert to Scientology?")

I don't claim to know the resolutions on Mary Kate Olsen's list, but I do have a couple of suggestions for her to consider in 2007. In addition to the obvious -- gain some weight -- I would also encourage her to think about whether or not it is wise to emulate the look of Donatella Versace.

After a recent trip to a Los Angeles salon, MK Olsen emerged with a new 'do -- specifically a new Dontatella-esque hair color. As a brassy platinum blonde, Mary Kate not only looks unhealthy (par for the course with this bird), she looks stricken with consumption!

"Haute-tels" - designer hotels

Filed under: Haute Home, Celebrities with Style

karl lagerfeld and schlosshotel, germanyI'm calling them "haute-tels" because they are luxury resort hotels that are being built by fashion designers.

Back in 2004, when Bulgari teamed up with Marriott/Ritz Carlton, there was no connection between fashion and travel, except for designers and models shacking up in fancy hotels on their glamorous globe-trots. But today, everyone from Betsey Johnson to Vera Wang is getting into the hotel and hospitality world. However, according to Forbes, industry analysts are skeptical because not only is the hospitality industry notoriously difficult (as if fashion isn't -- pshaw!), but diluting a specialty luxury brand is risky. Designers, though seem to want exactly that -- expanding their specialty reputation in shoes or leather or ballgowns into a "lifestyle brand."

Here are Forbes' 10 picks for designer hotels:
  1. Anouska Hempel has four hotels around the globe: Blakes London, Blakes Amsterdam, The Hempel (London) and Warapuru (Brazil). www.anouskahempeldesign.com
  2. Betsey Johnson's Betseyville is on the Pacific coast of Mexico. www.betseyville.com
  3. Bulgari Hotels and Resorts are currently in Milan and Bali, with more to open. www.bulgarihotels.com
  4. Casual footwear maker Camper has a hotel in Barcelona, Spain near their headquarters. www.camper.es
  5. Salvatore Ferregamo has teamed up with luxury hotelier Lungarno Hotels, with the newest property opened above a Ferragamo boutique in Rome. www.lungarnohotels.com
  6. In the playground for billionaires, Dubai developer EMAAR has invested $1 billion in Giorgio Armani's Armani Hotels, the first of which will open in Dubai in 2008. www.emaar.com
  7. Karl Lagerfeld has re-done a German castle into the Schlosshotel in Grunewald. www.schlosshotelberlin.com
  8. K Club in Barbuda, West Indies is the property of Mariuccia Mandelli, the designer behind Krizia. www.kclubbarbuda.com
  9. Though she doesn't own the entire hotel, Vera Wang has designed a suite in the Halekulani Resort on Oahu. www.halekulani.com
  10. Donatella Versace has built the palatial Palazzo Versace in Australia. www.palazzoversace.com.au.
