We preface the following fashion story about Amy Winehouse by asking everyone who values reason and logic to take this news flash from across the pond with a huge mountain of salt.

As we've seen with Lego's awesome anniversary edition celebrity figurines, many things in life (Amy Winehouse for instance) are way cooler in LEGO form. Well, apparently experimental French designer Jean-Charles de Castelbajac took that idea and ran with it. He teamed up with France's 4-H and The Lego Group to debut his Spring/Summer collection on the virtual stage. We think it's possibly the most fascinating runway show we've ever seen.

Do memories of big hair haunt you? Do you weep at the site of Aqua Net? Do you cringe when you look at your insanely hefty hair in the mirror? If you have answered yes to anyone of these questions you have been (or still are) the victim of big hair addiction.

If we were loaned $50,000 worth of designer clothing, we would be extremely careful with it. Then again, we don't constantly go on drug-filled benders and wander around the streets in a bra, so we probably shouldn't compare our actions to those of Amy Winehouse.

Have you always wished that you could have a tiny Amy Winehouse so you could recreate one of her drunken meltdowns on your pint-sized Lego amphitheater? Now you can, because Lego's decided to mold a limited edition set of celebrity "minifigures" to celebrate 30 years of the little plastic people. Getting your facial features painted on a tiny collector's edition Lego figurine is certainly an honor, but that doesn't mean it's all that flattering.

It certainly looks better on some stars than on others. While Amy Winehouse looks quite a bit healthier and less meth-addicted than she does in real life, other pop icons like Madonna look substantially uhh... blockier? Angelina Jolie just looks downright scary. Other stars getting the Lego treatment are: David and Victoria Beckham, Brad Pitt, Simon Cowell, and Danni Minogue. Unfortunately, the tiny plastic celebs won't be released to the public. So, you probably have to find an Lego employee and beg them to snag you one of these treasures of Lego history.

Since the introduction of the minifigure back in 1978, Lego has produced over 4 billion of the square-legged people.

We follow Amy Winehouse for a plethora of reasons -- when she started out she had a hip new sound. She's undeniably talented, and her style, as strange as it seemed to some with that crazy beehive, was at least original within this decade. But her fall from glory has been fast and hard. And it seems she's only going to keep sinking lower.

We might question some of the pop culture fashion statements that people make these days. For example, do you really want that Chewbacca tattoo? Or do you really need Amy Winehouse inscribed on your molar? When it comes to eye-wear, we can make an exception. We think Zakarias Tipton's laminated film-strip frames are a stylish way for film buffs to represent their obsession.

Tipton collects 35mm and 16mm film from Hungarian movie theaters, laminates them, and then incorporates them into these artsy looking frames. Yes, of course it involves destroying celluloid, but don't worry -- all the film was collected post 1989 (after the fall of Hungarian communism). If you happen to be obsessed with a classic director like Kubrick or Fellini, you're in luck. Tipton does special series of frames honoring larger than life directors. Aside from tipping his hat to the greats, he claims that action movies with tons of explosions make the best frames.

In the ongoing quest to find newer, weirder, uglier kinds of ways to augment the human body, there are plenty of people out there getting questionable tattoos in even more questionable places. Still, we can't really imagine "tooth art" catching on. That's right, there's a studio in Utah that actually offers tooth art (more accurately 'crown art') for people who want to look like they have a piece of spinach permanently caught in their teeth.

We don't really understand the idea behind this body-art innovation at all. The website explains it as a kind of white-collar tattoo that can be removed in only a few minutes with a dentist's grinder, but their samples show teeth branded with portraits of Amy Winehouse, Mickey Mouse and Tiger Woods. It seems more like they're trying to market these to teens and tweens -- along with braces and headgear. Are they serious? Do they really think parents are going to go for that in Utah?

Despite the troubled singers legal problems, she's somehow still managing to land fashion campaigns and work on an upcoming album -- but this latest rumor may indicate that Winehouse has sunk to new lows. Bilde, a German gossip paper, is reporting that "Trägt Amy Winehouse jetzt Windeln" -- which translates exactly as: "If Amy Winehouse carries now diapers," which, if you look at the photo running with the story (or can speak German without using a crappy online translator), seems to indicate that she's not just carrying the diapers around, but wearing them too.

Roberto Cavalli is the designer of choice for divas like the Spice Girls, Beyonce, Mariah Carey and Heidi Klum. He inexplicably selected Amy Winehouse to be his latest muse/model.

Kate Moss popularized heroine chic and now Amy Winehouse is bringing it back in the most literal sense possible -- she's a drug addict. But, for some people, that's just a minor detail. Welsh designer, Julian MacDonald, has announced that Amy will wear the top gown in his collection.

Reports have surfaced that Amy Winehouse and Pete Doherty are working together in the studio. Assuming, of course, that "working together" is code for "meeting our dealer" we can expect to hear that new single a week from never.

We blame Kate Moss for this latest union of crazy druggies. She is responsible on multiple levels.
