Alice Dellal, the new face of Mango denim

Mango has previously had Penelope Cruz and Milla Jovovich pose for them, and now they've moved on to Alice Dellal. Not sure who she is? Let us fill you in:

Trend alert: butt crack couture

Not all that long ago, butt crack fashion was only popular among hip hop circles, prison gangs, and members of a certain profession dealing with pipes and drains. Now, butt cleavage is apparently working its way to the top of the female fashion hierarchy -- right next to traditional cleavage. So, move over whale-tail, the next big movement in 21st century raunchy couture is all about the beauty of the extreme lower back.

As low rise jean keep migrating down the hips, it seems that lingerie designers are starting to explore the cheap thrill of assless fashion. More and more, we're starting to see panties with these risqué butt windows. From Alexander McQueen's expeditions into uncharted low-rise territory, to Heidi Klum's butt-crack dress last winter-- it seems that the fashion world has become addicted to crack. You might even call it the fashion fetish of our time, but we think it's a little too early to tell.

For the millionth time, Kate Moss is not being dropped by Agent Provocateur

Last week the blogosphere went wild with rumors that sexy lingerie brand Agent Provocateur would be dropping Kate Moss for an edgier and much younger Alice Dellal.

If you haven't been keeping track, this is about the third time in two months that the company has apparently tried to shove the supermodel out of its door.

But, like all the other stories concerning Miss Moss and Agent Provocateur, this too appears to be false.

Kate Moss dropped by Agent Provocateur for a younger model

Goodbye, Kate Moss, hello Alice Dellal! Agent Provocateur has dropped the reigning queen of heroin chic as the face of their lingerie line in order to replace her with a fresher look.

Kate Moss does artsy lingerie movies for Agent Provocateur

As we mentioned before, Kate Moss has returned to Agent Provocateur, starring in the lingerie-maker's latest batch of advertisements. But instead of sticking to a straight-up print campaign, the company has decided to create six pseudo-artsy, mostly pretentious videos of Moss prancing around in her skivvies.

Gallery: Kate Moss does freaky ads for Agent Provocateur

Each video is based on one of the high-concept (and kind of racy) print ads, which are supposed to convey "the demise of a bride's 'big day' and serialize the unraveling of the religious organization behind it." Heavy stuff -- and it gets heavier. Each ad is based on one of the following themes: The Happiest Day of Her Life, The Garden of Eden, Bad News, Frenzy, Revenge, and Let Them Eat Kate.

Confused yet? So are we. Check out the gallery to see if you can figure which ad is supposed to go with which concept. Honestly we have no idea.

Kate Moss says "I do," for Agent Provocateur

Nothing says virginal bride like a coke snorting, absent mother figure, nearly anorexic model. Which means it makes perfect sense that Kate Moss is the new face of Agent Provocateur's bridal line. We don't think innocent is the look they're going for.

Last year Kate starred in series of videos for the company that were so incredibly hot they crashed the website when they first went live. We're impressed.

Agent Provocateur Ecards for Valentines Day

So let's pretend you're too lazy to go out to dinner, and you can't be bothered to schlep down to the drugstore to get a real card. You're a) the worst Valentines Day date ever, and b) you're probably looking for the just the right electronic sentiment to send your loved one.

Check this out. These racy Ecards from lingerie making Agent Provocateur are sure to make your special someone's heart skip a beat. Who wouldn't want a Valentines Day card adorned with a steaming hot underwear model and something sexy scribed in French?

That said, I'm not sure I know many ladies who would appreciate receiving a V-day card with some other (very gorgeous) woman on it, and I doubt many girlfriends want their man lusting after another woman before the big date. But if you girlfriend loves looking at lingerie (or you have one those "open relationships") this might be for you.

Lily Allen bares all?

lily allenWhen you think Lily Allen do you think lingerie model? I certainly don't, especially since the musician has publicly expressed some major body image issues in the past.

Rumors have been flying about the British singer Lily Allen stripping down to her skivvies for Agent Provocateur. This is no little photo shoot either; according to one source Lily Allen has been named the new face of the brand.

This is just odd to me. On one hand it's great because there is a new type of women being branded sexy, and this could potentially help her overcome her body issues. However the model choices Agent Provocateur has made are a little out there for me. First it was Maggie Gyllenhaal and then Catherine Bailey, I just don't get it.

The lingerie company is keeping mum about the Lily Allen rumors by giving the standard "no comment." What do you all think, should Lily Allen stick to music?

Maggie Gyllenhaal to model "world's most erotic lingerie"

Agent Provocateur, the UK-based lingerie company well-known for the over-the-top sexual innuendo in their advertising (like this banned Kylie Minogue ad you shouldn't watch at work), has found a new face for their brand. After recently ditching UK supermodel Kate Moss, the company will now use Maggie Gyllenhaal to model their sexy wares.

An Agent Provocateur spokesperson wouldn't say exactly why they choose the quirky actress, although when they dropped Kate Moss, the company mentioned they were looking for a younger face.

But if you ask me, Gyllenhaal's been a shoe-in for the job ever since Secretary came out five years ago. If anything says "willing to push the envelope," it's letting the world watch you get spanked over and over by James Spader. Creepy.

The campaign is set to hit the Internets on September 1, so keep your eyes peeled.

Something lacy, something racy

I don't even know where to begin with a lingerie line like Agent Provocateur. I don't think that I'm a prude or anything, but the landing page for the classic collection totally makes me blush!

But, for you, dear reader, I'm willing to forgo my modesty to find a very hot pair of knickers. These pink and black lace panties are part of the Francoise collection (no doubt the name is intended to add a hint of continental sophistication). Depending upon your taste, you can buy them in a thong, a French thong, or a hipster brief variety.

Ooh la la!

Kate Moss speaks!

Okay, so Kate isn't exactly gabbing about the things I'm interested in -- like why she's dating Pete Doherty or what it was like to be painted by Lucien Freud -- but she is, nonetheless, letting us know what's on her mind.

As I reported a few days ago, Kate Moss has signed on with lingerie designer Agent Provocateur to star in several video commercials in which she talks about dreams, desire, narcissism and a whole host of other steamy vices.

If you're interested in hearing what the ever-elusive, interview-shy Kate Moss has to say, you can watch her first video on the Agent Provocateur website. But don't be surprised if you feel a little disappointed. As the old saying goes, "Sometimes it's better to be seen than heard."

Kate Moss does a talkie

As far as models go, few have been as lasting and as popular as Kate Moss. Despite a cocaine scandal and a drug-addict boyfriend, she remains one of the fashion industry's most popular faces. However, very few people have ever heard her speak.

But all of that is about to change. For a new series of Agent Provocateur ads, Kate will be featured in four, unscripted short films that tackle her thoughts dreams, narcissism and exhibitionism.

I don't know about you, but I'm eager to see how Kate fares on film. Part of me worries that it might be something of an Eliza Doolittle scenario -- rumor has it that Kate speaks with a horrible, Cockney accent.
