On how she began her relationshop with the gorgeous man, Larson tells the mag: "I got texts, and we just started talking. George is funny and sweet, and he's good to be around. I see him as a normal person, like anyone else. He just happens to have a well-known face."

As we mentioned earlier, 21-year-old Holly Kiser won the first season of Make Me A Supermodel, which included a contract with New York Models and $100,000 check.

But it seems as though she wasn't the only contestant who walked away with more than just a couple of hours of embarrassing moments on national television.

Forbes has just released their annual list of top-earning supermodels in the world. In 2008 a few beauties moved up a few places on the list, while some were knocked off completely. Keep reading to see who made it, and who didn't.

As we've repeatedly documented on this site, their is a clear lack of diversity in the fashion industry. All of the runways, editorials, advertisements, and fashion covers have been completely white-washed for the past eight years now.

It's gotten so bad that former model agency owner Bethann Hardison -- who use to rep supermodels Tyson Beckford and Naomi Campbell -- had to convene two summits to discuss the refusal of some of fashion's most powerful to embrace black beauty. CFDA president Diane Von Furstenberg even sent out a letter prior to fashion week urging designers to incorporate models of all ethnicities onto their catwalks.

However, after the fall '08 fashion season concluded, the runways were as bland as ever.

But just when we thought all was lost, it seems as though somebody has finally gain some semblance of a conscience.

The lovely, and young, model Monika Jagaciak, aka "Jak" was removed from the roster of Rosemont Australian Fashion Week after an international uproar over her age.

After an intense jet-set themed competition that sent the squeaky-voiced Stacey Ann home, the America's Next Top Model contestants will be heading to Rome this week for their next major challenge.

Picture yourself at Charleston Fashion Week. Sure, it's not New York, or LA, but you've been pleasantly surprised by a few of the designers, and the friendly woman on your right recommended a darling little place to grab coffee after the show, so -- HEY! HOLY CRAP! Did that woman just disappear through the floor of the runway?

Oh yes she did.

It's Fashion Week in Australia (AFW) and there is a scandale brewing down under about underage models.

Billed as the next big thing, 14 year old Polish model, Monika Jagaciak, aka Jak, is walking in her first show at AFW. Like all school age models, Jak was required to get a note from her parents and her school principal that said she was allowed to miss school.

Even with this explicit permission, people are still up in arms that this type of "career" exploits and overly sexualizes very young girls.

Well, duh.

After the death of designer Gianco Ferré last September, the fashion house has been on a dire quest to find a designer who could step in and take over the reigns.

Lars Nilsson -- the former designer of Nina Ricci -- was tapped to be the creative director for Ferré in 2007, but was released from his position before his first collection even went down the fall 2008 runway. Ouch, indeed!

So, we have our fingers crossed for this new design duo:

It's raining fashion campaigns in Hollywood.

Practically, every young starlet has their name associated with some major brand: Hayden Panettiere designs bright-colored patent leather totes for Dooney&Bourke; Eva Mendes will be fronting two Calvin Klein campaigns next season; Rachel Bilson is designing a diffusion line with DKNY Jeans; Ashlee Simpson just signed a deal with Wetseal, and Chloë Sevigny, uh, well, who hasn't she collaborated with?

Earlier this year, I was left kind of shocked and dumbfounded when I found out that major fashion designers like Miuccia Prada, Marc Jacobs, Karl Lagerfeld, and Alber Elbaz hardly ever -- if at all -- used the internet.

Last season, designer Stefano Pilati snagged everybody's favorite beautiful mess Kate Moss to front his star-infused spring ad campaign.

Well, if all the rumors are true, he's enlisted the help of another notoriously bad girl for fall.

WWD reports, supermodel Naomi Campbell has been chosen for Yves Saint Laurent's fall ad campaign. The 37-year-old London babe apparently shot the campaign recently in Paris with the killer photography duo Ines van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin.

Naomi has always been one of my favorite models, so I'm happy to see her still getting those coveted bookings in the fashion industry. In addition, her chiseled body will compliment YSL's austere futuristic pieces nicely.

Plus, Naomi was the first person to rock the Ike Turner-esque bowled haircut that every model wore on YSL's runway this season. In fact, she sported the hairstyle during her short stint of community service back in 2006.

Can it be? Have curvy bodies replaced the tiny frames currently dominating the runways and fashion editorials? Eh, not exactly. But Donatella Versace has enlisted two supermodel pros for her brand's fall ad campaign that are anything but waif-like child women.

Isabeli Fontana, who was the face of Versace Crystal Noir parfum in 2004, and Natalia Vodianova will be appearing in Versace's window displays come fall -- replacing the vivacious Gisele Bundchen who is currently fronting the brand's campaign. The beautiful mothers shot the ads with famed fashion photographer Mario Testino on Wednesday.

Kudos to Donatella for embracing women over the age 14 and a size four two seasons in a row now. I know, I know. But we've got to start somewhere.

On the runway these skirts look adorable, after all you have stick thin models wearing them. For us real girls out there you have to be careful with a cut like this. I mean who wants to make their hips look bigger than they actually are. To wear this look without looking like a marshmallow, make sure you wear something fitted on top. It also helps to wear dark hosiery to streamline the look.
