According to fashion experts like Us Magazine, denim shorts are a must have item for summer.

This particular clothing item has always sort of baffled us. Shorts are great for hot weather, cool and easy to get around in. However, most denim is heavy, hot and sweaty, making them sort of an odd choice for the heat. But, we don't set the fashions, we just judge them.

There is a pretty broad range of shorts out there, in terms of length, wash and pocket action. Also in terms of price, ranging from under $20 all the way to $350. For shorts!

Most of us have things about our bodies we'd like to change -- you know, the grass is always greener anywhere but here, right? One of the important things to keep in mind when we're figuring out how to best disguise our least favorite body part is that there are other body parts that we do like, and so instead of just disguising, we want to look at how to draw attention elsewhere.

If your problem is a short torso, chances are that you have fairly long legs. While you don't want to wear teeny-tiny shorts around all the time to show off how long they are, keep them in mind while you shop, and don't be afraid to flaunt what you have. It's about time they made some jeans for ladies with contours. We've spent hours tugging at jeans that are too loose in the waist and too tight in the hips. It's uncomfortable, and even worse, it looks bad.

Last week super trendy J Brand jeans announced a new line called Blue Line that will target "curvy" women. Forgive us if we doubt their definition of "curvy" although we applaud the effort.

They might want to look to their curvy competition, PZI Jeans. PZI is all about fitting curves. Their excellent sizing chart even acknowledges the totally common but underserved small waist-to-hip ratio, aka the reason why we all walk around with gaping waistbands. Or we did until PZI came along. From the pictures on the site, you can tell that these are jeans that will fit you like a grown up, without low-riding or muffin topping.

If you have short legs, there are a number of things you can do to make them look longer, none of which include hanging by your ankles to stretch them out. The way you dress can make a dramatic difference in the way your legs look.

While wearing a monochromatic leg (pants or skirt, socks or tights, and shoes all in a similar color) is certainly elongating, it's not always practical. Are you going to wear red tights with a cute red sundress in the middle of summer? No way! Stone Island has released their Spring/Summer '08 line for men, and within it is something for everyone. The apparel and accessories are modern enough to be fashion forward but classic enough that they won't go out of style any time soon, which is good because what they offer isn't cheap.
