Call me crazy (it won't be the first time) but getting dressed everyday is like giving myself a personal runway show. I change clothes about 80 times before I get the perfect outfit, I walk, I pose, and I blast music. Fashion is my passion people; I may as well have some fun with it.

Here are some great tunes to strut your stuff too, which by the way were all played during New York's Fall Fashion Week.

Arcade Fire: I am totally obsessed with the song 'No Cars Go' -- I am currently playing out now. This song played in more than one runway show during fashion week, so listening to it takes me back to a happy NYC fashion kind of place.

M.I.A: 'Paper Planes' played at at least two runway shows during fashion week. This song is unbelievable catchy and fun to listen to, download it at once you won't regret it.

The Killers: The runways were rocking to 'Shadow Play' during fashion week because let's face it you can never have too much Brandon Flowers.

Massive Attack: The song Karma Coma played right before the Araks show started during fashion week. If you haven't listened to Massive Attack you are seriously missing out; semi-sultry, semi-sexy vibe with unbelievable beats.

The Beatles: A live band played hits from The Beatles during the Rock and Republic show and it was absolutely amazing. Who doesn't lpve fabulous fashions stomping down the runway to The Beatles?

Shocking Blue: 'Hot Sand' was playing during the Mara Hoffman show. The show was so 70's, so chic ... and having this song playing (amongst others) totally added to the 70's vibe.

I noticed something while I was in New York covering Fashion Week -- all of the fabulous women were wearing fur. Seriously, you could tell the rich from the poor just by looking at their coats, although their $800 shoes were pretty revealing too. It made me green with envy. I had never in my life wanted a fur coat but suddenly after being so close to them I started to realize what the big deal was all about.

Fur coats are an instant way to chicify your look but buying new fur can be quite expensive. So for me, the best option for purchasing fur is buying it vintage, which seems much more human anyway (twisted reasoning, sure).

Here are some tips for buying vintage fur:

1.) Buy a modern silhouette- You don't want to look like Cruella de Ville with a tacky fur coat down to your ankles do you? Check out what is "in" for today's furs and try to find a vintage piece to match.

2.) Buy from a reputable vintage shop- If you go to any random shop you might end up with a fur that wasn't cared for properly, which for you would wind up being a waste of money. Good vintage shop owners are particular about the pieces they choose and they only take the best.

3.) Wear it with pride- Don't let any fur haters get you down! It's your coat and you spent your money on it -- those PETA meanies need to mind their own business.

I hate to be cliché and trust me I want to start smacking people around when I hear stuff like this but -- gray is the new black for Fall 2008. MAC's Trend Spot write up during New York Fashion Week declared that purple and gray are the colors to have your eyes this coming Fall.

NARS Single Eye Shadow: NARS makes a great eye shadow, I don't know why I don't use it more. The color always goes on strong and has nice staying power. This color is perfect for Fall 2008 because it's a combination of the two hottest shades for beauty ... gray and purple.

Bare Escentuals Wearable Eye Kit - Meet The Stones This kit by Bare Minerals has all the gray eye shadow that you will ever need. If for some reason these colors don't work for you, try mixing and matching to achieve your perfect shade of gray.
DuWop Gray Eyes I love DuWop's eyeshadow kits ... mostly because they are super cute. This kit is perfect for getting your perfectly gray, perfectly smokey eye for Fall 2008.
Sephora Brand Enchanted Eye Palette - Plum I am a sucker for an eye palette, you get all you need and more in one neat little package. This palette will be your best friend in Fall 2008 because grays and purples are the "it" thing to have in your make up bag.
Urban Decay Matte Eyeshadow If you want color that goes on just like you see it in the container then Urban Decay is perfect for you. When I was in high school I bought a bright blue (I was in high school remember) from Urban Decay and that sucker went on bright! Probably a bit too bright for the way I was applying it but still.

I love glitter. I mean what girl doesn't like the shiny stuff? I have been wearing glitter on my eyes for years and years. I can clearly remember myself as a teen heading off to baby-sit with a fresh coat of glitter on my eyelids only to hear my mother shout "Get that crap off of your eyes, you will scare the kids." Newsflash Mama, kids like glitter too.

Glitter may have never left for me but for the rest of the population it's probably been a while since you have rocked it. This coming Fall has been dubbed by MAC Cosmetics as the "season of the glitter eye." I am sure a lot of you just jumped back in horror with images of disco balls and drag queens but fear not because there are many ways to wear this trend without looking absolutely ridiculous.

Go wild: If you want to go wild with this trend there are some awesome beauty products that you should try out. MAC's glitter eyeliner is a personal favorite of mine and comes in a bunch of fun colors. Another great item to try is glitter mascara; this look should be reserved for evening only and be careful not to rub your eyes too much (glitter in the eyes hurts).

Go subtle: If the thought of glitter has you running scared you can go easy with the trend and try a shimmery eye shadow or apply a little glitter lotion to your legs or chest. NARS body glow lotion smells great and will give you the glitter affect without going overboard.
