Victoria's Secret model blasted for "back fat"

This is a model from the Cia Maritima runway show at Sao Paulo Fashion Week. Next to this nearly anorexic figure, we suppose anyone would look fat.
Because while the fashion industry claims to have realized the error of its ways -- denouncing ultra-skinny models, and learning to love the "real women" of the world -- it turns out those revelations must have been a passing fancy. Karolina Kurkova, a Victoria's Secret model, appeared in the same show, and response has been scathing -- just because of a little cellulite.
Kurkova has been slammed by the press, who are calling the sexy supermodel "chunky," "fat" and claiming the audience was "shocked" when they saw her in a bikini.
Let's be real people. The photos aren't exactly glamorous (at least not in a supermodel kinda way), but as you can see in the above gallery or the video below, the 24-year-old Kurkova is anything but unattractive. Fast-forward to the 7:35 mark to see her in the bikini that's become the focus of so much controversy.
Would you call that fat?

When I was a kid, ha ha, the girls on the runways had smiles on their faces(unlike the utube video) and it really didn't matter if they had a flaw or two, the media had better things to do and didn't rip a woman completely apart like seems to be the trend these days all because she has cellulite. In today's warped and jaded society, if you don't look like you have just walked off the deserts of Dafur with two balloons implanted to your chest, well, honey, you just don't "have it."

If this woman walked down any beach, anywhere, every head would turn and gawk. Yes, she looked a little softer than some of the other girls on the runway, but I think she still looked fabulous. After all, most of the girls out there looked like they hadn't seen a carb since puberty. How sad that so many media outlets had nasty things to say about her!

Yeah, shes really hot. But some girls look better with curves. Take Lindsey Lohan for instance... Hot in mean girls.. not so hot now...

R these people SERIOUS?? What i love most are the "media" employees who are saying that she is fat..I bet they are all at LEAST a size 14...no wonder women puke their salad dinners and take laxatives. She is genetically blessed and i hope she does not take this blow to herself seriouslly.

Ok, firstly, if you look at the bikini pics in question, you will see that she has some "rolls"just under the bra line. These are NOT fat rolls! This is SKIN, people! The way models stand is unnatural - they over-arch their backs, causing the skin to ripple like that. Were she standing naturally, there would probably be no rolling, or at the very least, a significantly smaller amount. Get a life, people. Do you understand what you do to young girls with comments towards a size 2 female like "she's gotten fat"?!

Anyone who would call her fat must have a worthless and pathetic life.Maybe even on the verge of suicide,or so ugly they have to have a porkchop tied to there neck to get any attention from a hungry dog.Some people are alive just because it is against the law to shoot them.People like this are the reason people have problems with weight and selfesteem If I had an mag or website and had an employeee that said stupid s**t like this about her,or anyone else for that matter, I would fire their ass so fast.

Karolina looks the sexiest and most confident of all of them! She's got a fabulous body and it was great to see some slight softness to all the bony shapes on the runway. Wow! More of her looking like this please. If we could all embrace and open up to her gorgeous and still super skinny frame, maybe there would be room for "real" curves ahead!

I didn't see ANY fat on her. As a matter of fact, I don't know how she - or any of these girls - walk on such bony calves and ankles!!!
This has really gotten insane . . . and very, very, very sad.

I was not even sure which girl they were calling FAT until I watched it twice! If that is FAT I definately want to be FAT TOO!I'm a size 12 what is she a size4? I think there are plenty of women in this world who look GREAT and they are not a size 0. Everyone is equal, but not created equally. I have 3 daughters and I have taught them to be the best you,that you can be. I think it is all about being toned and healthy, NOT about what size(number in your clothes) you are!
