Jessica Simpson will design lingerie
Remember the These Boots Were Made For Walking Video where Jessica Simpson showed off her sexy, suds up, buff body in the name of her music? Well, we have a feeling we'll be seeing more of the eldest Simpson half naked and sexy -- she's starting her own line of lingerie. And like any good little celebrity who wants to get rich off a fashion line, she'll most likely model it for the ad campaign.Exciting! As Papa Joe would say, "You can never go wrong with a Simpson sister in lingerie." Ok, so maybe that's not an exact Joe Simpson quote, but it sounds like something he would say. In fact, this whole thing was probably his idea!
The line will be called Jessica Simpson's Intimates -- very original, we know. She'll be hawking bras, panties, sleepwear and daywear at major department stores and online stores. The collection is launching in Spring of '09.
Believe it or not J-Simp is one of the most successful celebrity designers out there. Her shoe line has been nothing short of an outrageous hit with young women. So can she do it again? Time will tell...and in the mean time, tell us -- Would you buy Jessica's "intimates?"
