If you were the kind of kid who drew on her converse high tops, and always aspired to put your designs into production, we found the perfect contest for you!

Between now and July, you can enter the Design Your Own Doc Marten contest and do just that -- the only limit is your imagination.

The site has a built in tool for you to customize the toe, laces and upper of an 8- or 14-hole boot template. You can even upload your own images and insert them on the boot. You just need Flash 8 to make it work, which can be downloaded here. You can also download the template and go to town with Photoshop or Illustrator.

The designs are judged by popular vote and a panel of Cool Experts. Entries are coming from pretty much everywhere around the world, and some of the designs are amazing.

Two winners will be selected at the end of July, and their adoring public can buy the boots they created. Could it be you? Remember, you can only win if you play. So get creative!
