Karl Lagerfeld does luggage
Much like Giorgio Armani, Karl Lagerfeld is completely unaware that our economy sucks, the dollars is fairly weak, and people aren't buying expensive booty like they use to.But what's fashion without all of the craziness and extravagance? Boring, of course.
WWD reports that the Kaiser will be debuting a new line of luggage and handbags this October that were inspired by, well, himself: "The holiday/resort collection features a mostly black, white and beige palette with occasional pops of color (hazard-cone orange, midnight blue)."
The bags, in particular, feature zippers shaped like cravats, tote handles inspired by the designer's sunglasses and Ks woven into leather clutches.
And as any knowledgeable fashion fiend can attest, Lagerfeld wears a black suit with a white shirt practically everyday. Eh, it doesn't sound too original, but we imagine the pieces will be impossibly chic. We expect nothing less from Karl.

I'm excited about this new line, I imagine it's going to look amazing!
I recently stumbled upon London Fog Luggage which is a great, chic looking line that didn't break the bank. I'm a big fan, just wanted to spread the word to anyone looking for a similar style but doesn't have to money to splash out on designer goods.
