Lauren Conrad's summer collection is a work in progress

Well, we will definitely say that Lauren Conrad's Summer collection is a step up from the tediously boring, ridiculously overpriced Bella Collection she did for Spring. Granted, it's still overpriced, the clothes are just cuter.

For the Summer collection called, "Summer in the City," Lauren branches out a little. She offers more styles of dresses, more colors and more different cuts.



Of course, there are still the leggings to contend with. But, rather than stick with the basics, this time Lauren follows a few trends. Like the Brooke Jumper, for instance. Those one piece styles are a must-have right now, and the one in Lauren's collection looks like it would be a flattering fit.

But, all in all, the stuff is still too expensive for what it is. The Hills is a hot show, but not hot enough to make people want to run out and buy a $125 dollar halter top from LC.
