William Broome for Topshop
Contrary to belief, we aren't the ones on the internet who have a massive crush on the shop they call Top. A shocker, for sure.
No, Nylon magazine is quite infatuated with the UK fast fashion retailer too, and last month they dropped the news on their lovely little site that Marc Jacobs' pal William Broome would be creating a line of graphic tees for Topshop.
Well, the comfy over-sized pieces featuring Broome's crazy cool illustrations have finally made their way into stores, and so far, we're definitely liking what we see.
However, don't be fooled by the juvenile looking doodles of the adorable creatures that are placed on every tee in this mini capsule collection. In fact, the designer says they actually have a much more gloomy meaning: "Like a Care Bear that is beyond caring; My Little Pony on a trip to the glue factory; Paddington on the psychiatrists couch."
Who knew? Now if he could only tell us the story behind a habitually depressed Miss Marc.
