Lauren Conrad has a sex tape/is named celeb designer of the year

Lauren Conrad has said that designing is all she ever wanted to do. So Miss LC must have been thrilled to be chosen as UsWeekly's celebrity designer of the year.

Although UsWeekly isn't necessarily a respected fashion publication, Lauren can at least walk away with the satisfaction of knowing she beat out archrival Heidi Montag to take home top honors.

There's that, and the fact that being named top designer is certainly much better news than old enemies dredging up the past and talking about an LC sex tape that really does exist. Sorry, we just had to throw that in there -- now back to your regularly programmed fashion news.



Anyways, when interviewed about her line, Lauren told UsWeekly that she tries to make clothes for all kinds of bodies, "I'm bothered by designers you can only wear if you're really thin."

She's also going to be doing a holiday collection featuring vintage tees, "I'm having a little more fun with it: bright colors; we're dress it up." We are hoping this one is a little more unique than the last collection.

And Lauren must have read Styledash and heard our complaints that the clothes are too pricey, considering their simplicity. She said of their high cost, "The fabric is high quality."
