Ladies, do you want to recycle your bra?

We know you all are probably on green overload due to our amazing earth day coverage on Tuesday, but here's one more sustainable idea that's sure to spark the interest of any eco-friendly lady who's got a bra or two to spare.

Basically, Oxfam wants everyone to give them your old bras. Yes, you heard right. In turn, the organization will drop off all of the vintage Vicky t-shirt bras to its recycling plant, Wastesaver.

While in the facility, the bras will either be stripped of their fabric or sold to traders who send them to developing countries.

According to Tony Clark, the general manager at Wastesaver: "Bras are the most desirable item we get. They are technically difficult to make and those from here are considered to be of superior quality in the developing world."

Pretty amazing, right? Your dreaded spring cleaning could actually serve a higher purpose this season. We know we've had a comfy seamless Gap item that could definitely use a much more deserving home -- especially since we stopped wearing it in after our freshman year of high school.
