eBay WTF of the Day: My hat it has three corners

My hat it has three corners
Three corners has my hat
And had it not three corners
It would not be my hat!
Remember that song from when you were little? We do. We think it was usually taught to American 3-7 year olds when talking about colonial America, which they do a lot in American schools until you turn about 7 (old enough to start asking hard questions).
But look! We found the hat! Two of them!
They're not just made of newspaper anymore, folks. These three-cornered hats are real, and though they look like they are made of felt, they are not.
According to seller Sofdee, they appear to be made of some kind of wool or perhaps even cashmere! Johnny Tremain would totally forget about his mangled hand if he saw one of these hats!
Oh wait. Johnny Tremain is dead. And fictional. And nobody wears three-cornered hats. WTF? Remember the creepy subplot in Johnny Tremain with Isannah, his little sister who was depicted as a little nymphette? We remember "lascivious" being a vocab word. WTF?
Back to the hats: three-cornered hats, also known as tricornes, fell out of style "shortly before the French Revolution," according to wikipedia.
That's like, a long time ago, yo. WTF?

Well, they're a little late for the 400th anniversary of Jamestown, VA, but you could still wear them there and no one would think you were crazy!
