Bags by TLC's Chilli

Ever since the TLC craze died down sometime in the mid 90's, we haven't seen a whole lot of the girls. Obviously there was Lisa "Left Eye" Lopes' tragic death in a car accident. But aside from bad news, they've been flying under the radar. The group has had a few major musical projects since then, but nothing too popular. So it looks like Rozanda "Chilli" Thomas decided to try something new. She's now designing handbags.

Bags by Chilli make a sort of an upscale picture memento type design. They all have leather accents and look very nicely made. We're just not so sure that walking around with your kids' pictures all over your fashion accessories is the best idea. But, according to Chilli, the bags are very popular with everyone who sees them!

She said, "I received a few photo bags with pictures of my son on them as gifts years ago. They instantly became my favorite bags and the only ones I carry. Eventually I wanted bags in new shapes and sizes and with new pictures. The company that made my original bags closed and all that I could find for sale were plastic substitutes. I simply had to have more of these bags so I kept searching. I didn't know it then, but that search would lead me to create Bags By Chilli. Everywhere I go people ask where they can get bags like this. Now, I have an answer."

What do you think? Is this a great idea or are these bags kind of tacky?
