Earlier this year, I was left kind of shocked and dumbfounded when I found out that major fashion designers like Miuccia Prada, Marc Jacobs, Karl Lagerfeld, and Alber Elbaz hardly ever -- if at all -- used the internet.
(1) Because their huge egos would lead me to believe that they obsessively check their Google alerts at least twice a day and (2) what fully-functioning human being hasn't waisted a couple of hours aimlessly searching YouTube?
Anyways, the younger designers (under the age of thirty) aren't boycotting their Macs and Blackberrys. Au contraire, darlings -- they are taking full advantage of all of the sleek new technology that's coming their way.
Jesse Kamm -- designer and Los Angeles native -- has enlisted the help of her actress buddies Alison Loham and Samantha and Marley Shelton to star in her spring 2008 video, Bloom -- showing off the ultra-feminine and playful looks from Kamm's collection.
The video is funny, cool, quirky, and it makes me want to splurge on Kamm's pretty ivory halter dress. But that's the point, right?
