Get the Look: Caitlin Dowd, Cashmere Mafia
What the world needs now, is a new 'Sex and the City' ... It's pretty much impossible to replicate the power of 'Sex and the City' and it's influence on the fashion world but you can't hate a show for trying. 'Cashmere Mafia' on ABC is one of many shows being called "the next Sex and the City." It certainly has the right ingredients; 4 women in New York City who wear designer fashions -- heck even SATC stylist Patricia Field is the costume designer for the show too.
The show doesn't fill my 'Sex and the City' void completely but there are a few fashionable finds on the program, like this outfit worn by the character Caitlin Dowd.
Get the look:
- Black quilted leather jacket with belt, exact designer unknown but this one by Alexander McQueen will do the trick.
- Leopard print top with leather belt detail by SKY
- Red leather clutch by Carlos Falchi
- 'Misfit' jeans by Earnest Sewn
- Gray suede boots, Pedro Garcia
- Silver hoop earrings, Nordstrom

Actually, I should have said -"no big deal, who cares?" It isn't relevant in today's society. It doesn't help people except those in the television industry make money, but other than that, no one benefits from this kind of show - its brainless, and useless. Get over it!
