Remembering our discontinued favorites
Do you ever wish that the products you once loved never went away? I know I do. Every time I walk into the Body Shop, my heart aches a little when I look at the shampoo shelves. Nostalgia takes over, and I start to think back on the day that I discovered Body Shop's Blue Ice shampoo. The color, the smell, the tingly scalp feeling I'd get when I left it on a little too long -- oh it was so wonderful! Why did they ever discontinue it?!?
And don't even get me started on how much I miss Express's short-lived production of lingerie, which yielded the best pair of underwear I have ever worn in my life. (Confession: I still have them! Who cares if they're 8 years old?)
Alas, the list of items I have loved and lost seems endless: Clearly Canadian's sparkling raspberry drink in the clear glass bottle; aluminum-free Adidas deodorant; Concord grape New York Seltzer Water; the old Tide smell; Diet Coke with lemon (I hate the lime version)...
Now that we're on the topic of discontinued favorites, what are yours? Leave a comment, and we'll randomly pick one person to receive the discontinued item of their heart's desire! Just kidding about that last part, but let us know what you've loved and lost anyway.

I want Grape Pop Tarts back! And last year, Kellogg's had three cereals with marshmallows added for Halloween; Apple Jacks, Cocoa Krispies, and Fruit Loops. I want the first two back for good!

Bath & Body Work's Sunburst Melon / V's Secret Tranquil Breeze. It smelled SOO NICE! I found an old bottle, but it just didn't smell good anymore :o) ----- Revlon OUTRAGEOUS Shampoo + Conditioner, made my hair smell great all day and was soooo soft, I have yet to find something that I like as much and that was YEARS AGO! ----- Revlon's 10 minute haircolor. I still haven't found an at-home hair color that lasts as long as that one did! So depressing.

I simply LOVED Diet Vanilla Coke and Diet Vanilla Pepsi and I just can't seem to find them anywhere. There is a Vanilla Coke Zero that's ok - but just not the same!

I loved Avons Holiday Kiss perfume and in the summer they would have a foundation that didn't have any color, it blended in to your tan. Also, in the 80's, a make-up company had a aerosal foundation, it was the best, but kind of drying. I could live with that.

I Loved New York Seltzer Root Beer. I know the company went out of business, but maybe one could buy the recipe from the previous owners?? Thank goodness for Talking Rain - any flavor. It's so hard to find something sparkling that isn't cloyingly sweet.
