Zipper or button-fly, skinny or flare, gay or straight?

Say what?!

In a desperate act to sell jeans, Levi's has started targeting a new audience. The gays. This isn't a bad idea because if you can get a gay man to love your product then pretty much everyone else will follow. But I highly doubt that men (gay or straight) have denim related sexual fantasies.

Levi's didn't even take any extreme steps to make a special commercial for the gays. They kept the main character the same and just replaced objects of desire. It was like they read How to Change a Straight Commercial to Gay for Dummies; simply swap out the the female "hot babe" for a male "hot stud" and whammy, you have yourself a gay commercial.

Good luck Levi's, one of these days you will get it right.
