George W. Bush caught wearing Crocs

Love him or hate him, there's one thing we can all agree on when it comes to President Bush: he is not a fashionable man. So, now that the commander-in-chief has been caught wearing Crocs, can we officially declare these sandals as the ugliest pieces of footwear on the planet?
What's odd, is that it's not like Mr. Bush just ran out of the house without thinking about what he was wearing. The hat, shorts, socks and shirts all match -- perfectly. I think they're even the same shades of gray and black. So why, with all that forethought and preparation, would a person ever choose such hideous shoes?
According to Manolo -- the Internet's foremost shoe blogger -- this is grounds for impeachment. I'm not saying I agree, but -- given this egregious fashion faux pas -- it should certainly be taken under consideration.

I love Crocs - in fact I have some on now - to me the socks are the "faux pas" and they do match his shorts - so there!! ;-)

Too bad a picture like this wasn't released prior to the 2000 election! It would have ranked right up there with Howard Dean's 'roar' and we would have seen Gore in the White House!

Boy yall must be running out of things to write about. I wear crocs and im pretty fashionable... I think he looks handsome. Nice to see pictures of him other than suits and ties , it reminds us that he is human just like us....

seriously, his shoes?? shouldnt we be more concerned about his administration outing a CIA agent, firing attorneys unjustly and sending our men and women to patrol an ongoing civil war???

Got a couplea pair of Crocs myself. Not cheap footwear and comfort beyond measure. George needs some comfort after enduring all the liberal media. Lay off and report about some sleazy hollywood rich babe who is in and out and in and out of jail. We'll all read that.......

To Poster #1, Ellen- Too bad we didn't see a picture of Clinton--"not having sex with that woman" or we would have known he was just going to be in the whitehouse to score not actually behave like a president.

My whole family wears Crocks. We do have other shoes and wear them if the occasion calls for them.
Try the Crocks you will like them.....

WOW, finally a President that has no problem wearing what alot of us common folk wear. I think he looks great-can't we give him a break?
I love my Crocs. By the way, they are very comfortable-maybe that is why President Bush likes them.
At least he is down to earth, unlike some other people I won't mention.

Being a nurse I can tell you there is NOTHING better than Crocs for comfort!! Being an American, I can tell you I support Pres Bush in his attempt to do what is right for our country. Being a Christian, I pray to God every day that He is looking over ALL of us...with Crocs or without!!
