Tiffany Novo, the newest bling

Just in time for all those thinking of proposing on Valentine's Day, Tiffany is unveiling a new engagement ring with a new diamond cut. The ring is already available in Japan and will be for sale in the US in February. The Tiffany Novo is a solitaire set in four prongs. The center stone is a slightly squared cushion cut with a unique faceting to give it an updated look. The platinum shank is also laden with small pavé diamonds. As one of the posters on the Purse Forum board mentioned the diamond cut looks to be the same cut as the Square H & A. It's a nice compromise between a round brilliant and the princess cut which has sharper edges and can lack the fire of a round.
